Extra information before your visit

Animals have their own unique personalities who all have there own speed and some days they don’t want visitors and our alpacas might not want to walk some days, we respect this as the welfare of all our animals is our utmost priority they are our family and we want them to be happy as much as we want you to be happy on your visit. Due to this reason sometimes your visit may be slightly different and walk time with the alpacas could vary. This is an experience with our animals, not a trek but you will always have an enjoyable time!

The weather could be unsuitable for the experience to go ahead and if this is the case we may need to rearrange your visit, we do go ahead if it weather is just light showers.

Dogs are not allowed onsite unless they are guide dogs or AAT dogs, we love dogs here at Swinton Green but alpacas are not keen on dogs plus most of our animals don’t like dogs they aren’t familiar with.

Children under the age of 10 must walk an alpaca with an adult.

Please note you can’t just show you at Swinton Green you must have a booking before attending, once you are booked in we will send over on email all the information and footwear required on the day.
